For the first time EVER in Malmö, we are excited to announce that Aerial Yoga is here! Be the FIRST to try aerial yoga with one of introductory workshops, with weekly classes starting September 2018.
What is aerial yoga?
A new and fun way to practice yoga! Using a gentle, airy silk hammock to support your practice. In the classes you will develop flexibility and strength, working with long deep stretches and core and upper body strengthening to move in and out of the hammock. Attention is put on accuracy of movement and proper breathing to feel your best in the practice. Practicing aerial yoga greatly improves posture, flexibility, breathing, concentration and calmness of mind, while at the same having fun with this new challenge!
Who can try Aerial Yoga?
Anyone! As of March 1, 2019 we have opened up ALL of our classes to try! We recommend you start with the monthly introduction to aerial workshop, however, it is not required.
For the weekly classes, we recommend to start with the “Aerial Flow” class on Monday nights, as this is the most beginner friendly. After 3-5 classes you will be ready to explore other classes! You can also attend the introductory workshop and gain the tools to join any class!
What To Wear:
- Comfortable clothes without buttons, and a top with sleeves
- NO make-up, jewelry or piercings
- Wear simple, thin socks
- Please wash your hands before class
